Erik would get a bit dressed up for this date, it was supposed to be a candelit dinner. He had mostly just wanted to try out meeting more people and see what the divine Amor had in store for the evening, but it really seemed like an honest to good blind date spot, though he was entirely inexperienced with the concept. The over 8 ft tall man took a seat and waited for whoever his date would be to arrive, hoping it wasn't going to be someone hostile.

illya walking into the room hummed playfuly before looking at the 8 ft tall man not realy effect as mush as she was a bit suprised. illya then walked towords the seat and sat down with a cheeky and playful smile and said, "so who are you then? or should i introduse myself first?"

"Ah h-hello. I am Erik Odinson, Low Executor for the Church, Master in Chaldea... but I guess we are all that one. And y-you are?" He looked at Illya, the height difference was rather... laughable honestly for an outside observer, but to Erik it was anxiety inducing. She was just so small, if he did anything he would be worried about crushing her.

"im Illyasviel von Einzbern! besides where all masters here you don't have to sound to anxious then!" she said not realy worred unlike eric swinging her legs back and forth

"Ah yea... but this is... supposed to be a date right?" Erik wasn't really sure what he was supposed to do on a date really, but he had some vague ideas from a little bit of research beforehand. "Have you been on a date before really? I'm not entirely sure what to do... Ah, I suppose we could order some food or wait for it to show up while talking a bit...?"

"me nether, and if you want to order food we can do that and besides, i was just planing on taking anyways" she then looked at the menu before asking "acsuly mind if i ask something? why are you so large anyways, you dont see many people around thats about 8ft tall anyways even among servents?" she contiued to scane the menu

"Ah, well I have a larger than average quantity of Giant Blood in my veins that was only further enhanced by my previous partner, Surtr. I actually shrunk a bit recently since she was slain, but it seems my height has stabilized at around this size. No matter how big and strong I might be, I still do not think I am all that powerful." He looked a bit dejected, remembering the loss of his Partner that he had been working well with together. Not only was his height rather large, his eyes and hair seemed to almost have a red highlight and glow to them, though the normal brown color somewhat hid it in this lighting so it would not be as obvious to see.

She looked at erik and shruged saying, "if your anykind of half blood your bound to be powerful, or i think at least. As for having a servent like that sounds inpresive to say the least and i lost someone dear to me awile ago as well but life must go fowered no matter what we fell" she saod looking at the menu agien

"Wow... Despite your size, you must have experienced much. Ah sorry... you being small does not mean you are not capable." He would also look at the menu to see what was available, wondering what to perhaps talk about with his date "So... Do you have any crafts or hobbies you like to get up to? I work with metal and smithing, and am recently learning to use Runes a bit more. Finding things to do outside of martial training helps keep my mind at ease."

"i don't mind much ,in fact i would perfure that in some cases but as for hobbys i dont have much exept practicing my magecraft, i dont realy have a very exiting life overall if i could call it that" she said

Erik found this small girl rather cute in her dress. He himself was in a bit of a hastily put together suit, nothing too fancy though it obviously wasn't properly fitted. Finding properly fitted nice clothes for a man his size was rather difficulty. It was clear he had at made a pretty good attempt at looking nice though "Ah, well Runes are kinda like Magecraft I suppose. They both produce magical effects after all. Do you have any partners you work with currently? I suppose most Masters refer to them as Servants?"

"well i currently have two acsuly, a saber Julie d’Aubigny and a archer Sita, saber is a divius one im suspisus to me and sita is loyal and i haven't seen much of her so far" she said finding something she wanted on the menu

"Ah, well perhaps you should try interacting a bit more with this Sita. I found that interacting more with my Partner helps form a better bond. I have been helping Brynhildr train up, and I'm hoping we are growing closer." He finds something nice and waves over a waiter to hopefully have them order some food

"i supose that would be nice at least everyone and awile but i don't have any caster servent to help with my magecraft in that aspect easpesuly since i use alcamy but thats something i can that out figre myself" she said waiting for the waiter

"Ah... Well you can always apply funding to your Partners, or maybe try and learn some of their capabilities. Maybe learn a weapon or something to defend yourself with? I could try and help as well if you want."

"i can do that myself if i need to and besdies nether of my current know magecraft but i could consider something like your suggestions in the future, but im a humunculus so im better with magic myself usuly. I also must say someone like Brynhildr would be a good servent to summon all things considerd "

"You really are someone who is very self reliant huh... Working with others is still good to form bonds though. Even if you can do it all by yourself, if you work together with others, it will feel good to achieve a common goal, right?"

"its more of a perfued thing after my mother died, additionly back at home i had humunculi maids but there not here but i know how to make humunculi myself so i can make some assistance that way, regardless your right about the common goal thing but we will see how that goals" she said as the butler came and took her order

"Oh you can even make Homunculi? You must be a capable caster then, I don't really know much about Alchemy myself." He gives the waiter his order as he tries to think of things to talk about "How long have you been up from Cryo and active working in Chaldea?"

"mabye one or two mounths? i don't think it matters to much in the end, as for Alchemy you dont have to worry about it but createing humucli can complicated but it depends"

"I think it's been longer than a few months for you, I've been awake for a few months myself and I doubt you are less experienced than I am. You seem... used to all of this much more than me."

"its more i don't question it, besides i'm use to the mage world and that place is full of uniqe endevers to say the least so muder and magical adfacts arent to strage to me"

"Ah, I haven't really been apart of the mage world at all, I was still mostly training in the Church and didn't have much field experience before I was transferred to Chaldea. I am a bit new to all this stuff."

"Good, i don't suggest you go to close to it, as for the church it has its iuses to but all factions have downsides so you just have to pick your downsiedes in the end"

"Well I am more trying to find my own path. I am not one for all the politics of the Church and whatnot. I just wish to defend humanity from threats that would destroy it"

"that seems nice i have to say, in a way i chose to follow a fate of mine as well, im acsuly kind of jelus of others like you some times" illya said

"Really? I would think someone as capable of you could do whatever they wanted in the world. You seem like a plenty capable mage in your own right"

"not reaily, its ether i became a tool for others to use or another humuculess takes my role....i could only go to caldea becase they had a replacment in mind if i died"

"Yes, but you are here now right? Who here is making you do anything aside from work as a Master and assist with the Singularities? You have so much more capability and freedom here that you can make use of!"

"well i i'm not exactly restricted true....i have been enjoying my freedom a ilttle bit i can give you that much, besideds im still a mage so im still going to do mage things from time to tome she said

There was an awkward silence for a bit, Erik wasn't exactly sure how to continue this conversation. He didn't know mage things very well and he could only be so motivational. "Well uh... What have you gotten up to recently?"

observing his reaction disided to try not to talk about mages and said, "well i went on some missions, this is more or less a completely difrent gemeny then i know"

"Yea it really seems like its a heavily altered history now. I have some norse connection, but there isn't much left there it seems that I have a connection to, since the Servant that was related to Surtr was just a host for the power rather than anything actually related to the fire giant. We even had to slay that very power as it tried to take over her. Once I finish a bit of training, I will probably return to the Singularity to continue to help out"

"i will probly will return to as even though i'm not fimiler with the place. i'm use to the cold but defently not to the level of the snow barrer if anything. besides bing a half bread giaint must have its fair share of benifits from the looks of it" illya said

"I have gained strength from my blood, further enhanced by my bond with Surtr.... Anyway, I think this was a good chat. I have learned a bit about you, but I really need to get back to training and head into the singularity... I doubt it will be lasting much longer and I should get in for the final push"

"i probly don't think i can servive that kind of fight, howerver you probly can witch i can respect in that aspect so i hope you good luck!" she said in a exited tone

Erik nodded, giving Illya a smile as he gest up and heads out. This suit was really not fit for him, it was time to get back to training and head out for the Finale of the Singularity

smileing a bit she took the food she was eating then hoped off her seat and headed out to her room to finsh it humming to herself
